If you know where the Turkey Creek confluence/takeout is at the Tellico, and
you are driving to it, beside the Tellico,the branch on the left side of the
road , before the Turkey Creek bridge. Well Laurel Creek is that ditch that
you have been seeing.
The short cut road that goes back to the Cherohala skyway parallels the
creek.
The creek is short and packs a lot of mank. In the hairpin turn road, you
will discover the hardest drop.If the Tellico is running seven feet and
above , this drop becomes runnable and legit. But not pretty.
This is a ditch run by any stretch of the imagination, and can hold trees
