Its back. Great prizes and raffles. Jackson Kayak maybe even a few more kayaks to be in the mix. Last year we gave away two kayaks, hang gliding lessons, paddles, life jackets, helmets etc. We either gave away or raffled off over $10,000.00 in items. We will have that great goodie bag when you register and remember the first to register get the best items. Some goodie bags may even be worth $100.00. We truly do stuff the goodie bags in the order of registration. http://www.coosariverwhitewaterfestival.com The big air ramp is back but it is a lot lower to the water with a longer ramp and kicker on the bottom. We will be feeding you again this year on saturday night with a band for entertainment. Friday night entertainment is acoustical or bring your on guitar and hop on up.
We have added a few more events for the Sit on Top Kayaks/Canoes and Stand Up Paddle Boards.
Kayak competition will be on both sides of the Gap. King of the Wave is back. Your one registration ($30.00) gets you into every event if you want to compete, t shirt, goodie bag, entered into door prize drawings, shuttle, camping, parties, bands, showers, free food and drinks. The only thing that is not included is your meal at the gap which is $5.00. The $5.00 goes to a boy scout group. This event is for beginner sit on top kayakers to professionals kayakers.
