Wood on Clear Creek

Postby jwright » Mon Feb 22, 2010 3:14 pm

Ran Jett bridge to Nemo on Friday and discovered that there is a large tree in the whirlpool rapid just below the Grunch on Clear Creek in the Obed-Emory System. It completely blocks the river and has a rootball that extends down into the water. there is plenty of time to get out to portage and you will see it, just be aware that its there if you run the Jett to Lilly section of the creek.
