Water Quality (1

Scenery (1
bad 3 good)
Class IV.6
River Level needed:
Cumberland:4200 cfs
Big South Fork: 4500 cfs
You will find its better to use both gauges due to this creek
being small. One by itself is not enough. The two gauges used are big
watersheds-rivers and not a creek.
You will also need 2.0" of local rain
Use our flowpage : )
Directions: Put-in.
From Somerset Ky:
Go south on Hwy 27, to Hwy 90 ,turn left then go to Hwy 90
to Cumberland Falls State Park, past it look for Forest Service Road 195.
From there go down the road to the trailhead. Follow the
trailhead to the creek. The trailhead is very small. IF you miss it, you
will come to a "t" intersection just turn around go back.
Look for a small wooden bridge crossing the creek. This is
the trailhead.

The Run:
Is straight forward creeking and
if it gets too tough there is a hiking trail right beside it for the most
part.
Here is some video of the run. Notice the Cumberland,
its the bigger river in the video. Note its tall waterfall
